Snigdhya Hussain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at International Standard University (ISU). She completed her BA (Hons.) in English and her Master’s degree in TESOL with distinction from North South University, Dhaka. Her academic and professional interests include Socio and Psycholinguistics, Discourse Analysis, Shakespeare, Poetry, Pedagogy, Syllabus Designing, Material Development, Language Testing, Teaching Methods, and various fields of Linguistics, Literature, and TESOL. Alongside her departmental teaching responsibilities, she has served as a Course Instructor for the English Language Proficiency Course (ELPC) for Officers at ISU. This program is designed to help administrative officers improve their English proficiency, thereby strengthening communication, enhancing professional performance, and promoting workplace efficiency. She has also worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for Research, Development and Publications (CRDP), ISU, where she actively contributed to academic and institutional research initiatives. For her dedication and contributions, she has received formal recognition from the university. In addition, she has professional experience in content writing, which further enriches her academic and creative expertise. For her outstanding academic performance and dedication to student development, she was honored with the Best Teacher Award from ISU authorities. Passionate about both teaching and research, she is committed to advancing knowledge in English language education and applied linguistics. She strives to foster intellectual growth, critical thinking, and professional competence among her students, while contributing to the academic and institutional development of ISU.
